These principles explain how projects are discussed and delivered. They are an overview of our working approach, not a substitute for an individual written agreement.
Accounts and access
Clients retain access to the relevant accounts, including domains, hosting, app stores, third-party services, and billing where applicable. PortanX receives the access needed to build, configure, maintain, and update the project.
Ownership and deliverables
Ownership of the domain, hosting accounts, store accounts, source code, design files, subscriptions, and project deliverables is defined clearly in the individual proposal or agreement.
External costs
Some projects require external services such as domains, hosting, storage, databases, app-store memberships, payment providers, APIs, or AI services. These costs are identified where possible before work begins and may change with usage or provider pricing.
Changes and future work
New functionality, major changes, or requirements outside the agreed scope are reviewed before they are started. This keeps the project realistic, sustainable, and clear for both sides.
Support after launch
Support, maintenance, monitoring, content updates, and future improvements can be agreed as a separate ongoing arrangement when required.

The final scope, costs, ownership, deliverables, and support terms are set out in an individual proposal or agreement before a project begins.
